Gas Treatment
Removes acidic gases like CO₂ and H₂S in natural gas and refinery operations.
Rotterdam Chemicals Group supplies high-quality Monoethanolamine (MEA) for use in gas treatment, personal care, industrial cleaning, and chemical manufacturing. Our MEA is REACH compliant and available in technical and industrial grades. We provide global distribution from our Rotterdam facility in drums, IBC containers and ISO tanks with full documentation support.
Monoethanolamine (CAS 141-43-5) is a clear, viscous liquid with an ammonia-like odor. As both a primary amine and alcohol, MEA functions as a weak base and is widely used as a surfactant precursor, neutralizing agent and gas scrubbing chemical. It is especially important in formulations for detergents, emulsifiers, and corrosion inhibitors.
