What is Mineral Spirits D80?
Mineral Spirits D80 (also called ShellSol D80 or Exxsol D80) is a dearomatized white spirit solvent composed mainly of C11–C14 hydrocarbons. It features a boiling range of approximately 190–220 °C and a flash point typically above 70 °C. These properties make D80 the safest and slowest-evaporating grade, providing longer working time and reduced flammability risk compared to D40, D60, and D70.
