Heat Transfer
Component in water-based coolants and heating fluids for industrial systems.
Rotterdam Chemicals Group supplies Di Ethylene Glycol (DEG), a high-boiling glycol used in polyester resins, coolants, inks, and plasticizers. Our DEG is REACH compliant and distributed worldwide from our Rotterdam warehouse in drums, IBCs and ISO tanks.
Di Ethylene Glycol (CAS 111-46-6) is a hygroscopic, colorless liquid derived from ethylene oxide. It has low volatility and is fully miscible with water and many organic solvents. DEG is commonly used in heat transfer fluids, hydraulic brake fluids, and as a humectant or intermediate in various formulations.
